Mr. Weibell is a member of the Academy of Court-Appointed Neutrals (formerly known as the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters) and is available to serve as an arbitrator, neutral, mediator, special master, or referee by party request or court appointment. He has served as an adjudicator by court appointment in hundreds of civil matters of all kinds of subject matter.

Mr. Weibell has also been recognized as "Silicon Valley's go-to litigator on matters involving consumer protection, privacy and internet law" and a "Leading Commercial Litigator" by the Daily Journal, "known for his expertise in consumer protection, privacy, and internet law." He was a long-time litigation partner in the Internet Strategy & Litigation practice group at Silicon Valley powerhouse Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati before moving to Mayer Brown in January 2024. Throughout his career, he has been involved in negotiating and defending some of the most cited settlements in Silicon Valley, and has an exceptional rapport with opposing counsel and judges.

He has served as lead litigation counsel for Silicon Valley’s premier technology companies in diverse areas of complex civil litigation involving consumer class actions, privacy, e-commerce, intellectual property, antitrust, false advertising, and contractual disputes. He advises clients on compliance with internet, privacy, and consumer protection laws, such as the Wiretap Act, California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), the Stored Communications Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and unfair competition and consumer protection laws.

In addition to his law school degree, Mr. Weibell holds a master of science and a bachelor of science in engineering (civil and environmental) and a minor in business management. He is well-versed in data analysis and tech savvy. He is known for his time and cost efficiency in being able to produce complex work product without the supporting staff required by others.
